The BRAIN Lab applications for Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 have now closed. Application review is in progress.
The BRAIN Lab accepts a small number of undergraduate research assistants. Priority will be given to applicants who are interested in working over the summer, and to rising sophomores for Fall 2026. A two-term commitment is required. Undergraduates working in the BRAIN Lab may receive course credit or payment; the BRAIN Lab does not accept volunteers. Students are required to dedicate a minimum of 2 credits to BRAIN Lab research. In most cases, we do not approve overloads (>18 credits) to allow you to be in the BRAIN lab.
Applicants are selected based on experience with children, interest in autism, schedule availability, GPA, relevant coursework, and how their year and major contribute to the balance of the lab.
If interested, please email brainlab@nd.edu with your CV or resume, number of credits you plan to take, unofficial transcript, and a paragraph explaining why you are interested in the BRAIN Lab specifically.
